Gur Liraz & Amanda Becker: Ask me now
*Ask Me Now* is a duo album by guitarist Gur Liraz and singer Amanda Becker, exploring the rich tradition of the American Songbook through an intimate voice-and-guitar setting. The repertoire moves between Broadway standards and jazz classics from the Bebop era, bringing together songs from different corners of the tradition through a shared language of improvisation and interplay. The title track, Thelonious Monk’s *“Ask Me Now,”* sits alongside these standards as a key part of the album’s exploration of the American jazz tradition.
