Olivia Trummer: Like Water

Water, as an essential element of life, can fill any vessel, from a simple glass to the oceans of the world, without permanently taking on its shape. Olivia Trummer’s music is likewise in constant motion, crossing the boundaries between different genres with extraordinary fluidity and transparency. With her new album “Like Water”, the German pianist, singer, and composer—under the guidance of legendary American producer Russ Titelman—takes on the challenge of revealing her entire musical essence to the listener. In doing so, she makes it tangible that the coexistence of her inherent musical worlds is not merely the sum of its individual parts, but a synthesis.
