Latin Collective presents: Acoustic Session, 22nd edition.

Featuring Sergio Medina (voc), Thibault Falk (piano) & Urs Johnen (contrabajo).

Sergio Medina was born in Santiago de Cuba and spent a large part of his life so far in Habana. As a singer, composer and lyricist, he worked in all areas of Cuban music with different bands and in various projects. In 1984 he first started as a sound engineer with „Conjunto Los Karachi“, during this time he created his first own compositions, which were included in the repertoire. Since 1989 he has been active in numerous ensembles: Grupo Mackandal, Grupo Afrocaribe, Orquesta Los Filin, Orquesta Siglo XX, Orquesta Havana All Star, Orquesta Islacaribe, Orquesta Son Caturla, Havana Son Light, Amaranto Fernandez y su grupo. Since 2019, Sergio Medina lives and works in Berlin.
